AROGYAVARDHAN- SAVING LIVES
The Aarogyovardhan Program, initiated and managed by the Yogananda Trust, is a heartwarming medical initiative dedicated to providing free healthcare to the underprivileged in and around Vrindavan. Our mission is to ensure that every individual, including mothers and all destitute, has access to quality medical care without any financial burden. We aim to provide essential healthcare services, including consultations, diagnostic tests, medications, and even surgeries, all at no cost.
Healthcare Services at No Cost: We go the extra mile to uplift the health and well-being of all destitute individuals. Our program provides essential healthcare services, including free OPD consultations, diagnostic tests, medications, surgeries, transplants and hospitalizations. With two fully equipped dedicated ambulances and E-rickshaws, we ensure safe and convenient transportation for the elderly to and from the hospital.
Dedicated Bedside Attendants: One of the special features of the Aarogyovardhan Program is the role of dedicated bedside attendants, without which admission of these destitute individuals would’ve not been possible. They play a pivotal role in offering personalized attention to support the destitute patients during their hospital stay, ensuring that necessary procedures are accessible even for those without family assistance. Pre and post-operation bedside care is provided with personalized attention and support throughout the recovery journey. Our dedicated attendants in the outpatient department (OPD) guide patients through their healthcare journey, providing attentive support every step of the way.
Free Medicines & Home-Delivery: Recognizing the unique challenges of the elderly who are unable to visit the hospitals, we offer a home-to-home medicine delivery service. This ensures that the medications reach those who need them, promoting continuous care and recovery even outside the hospital premises. To aid in recovery, physiotherapy services are also made available, helping patients regain their strength and mobility.
Preventive Care and Health Education: Going beyond immediate healthcare needs, we place a strong emphasis on preventive care and health education which empowers individuals to lead healthier lives and take proactive steps in managing their well-being. This approach ensures that health issues are addressed before they become more severe, promoting long-term wellness.

EMERGENCY SERVICES & AMBULANCES
The Yogananda Trust has two ambulances & 11 full-time OPD sevaks attending to poor patients in need of urgent care. Beneficiaries are assisted in everything from documentation to admission to ensure no one is sent back without the care they need.
24X7 BEDSIDE CARE
Pre & post-operative care is provided to all admitted to the hospital under the program to ensure all their physical & medical needs are being met. They are nursed to good health by our sevaks & doctors.
FREE SURGERIES CONDUCTED WITH SPECIALISED CARE
We fund surgeries for those with no means. Our surgeries are conducted under safe, hygienic conditions. 1 lakh free surgeries have been funded by the trust to date.
FREE MEDICINES & MEDICAL SUPPLIES FOR ALL
Patients that require medical care post consultation and surgery are provided with everything they need, from personalised prescriptions to medications & medical supplies. No one leaves without the care they deserve.

Free Medical treatment all destitute in & around Vrindavan including men, women and children of all ages (independent program but includes Mothers supported under Matri Seva Program)

"The story of Dulal Baba His last Wish"-Dulal Baba
Dulal Baba of our Gauranagar Baba’s ashram was admitted in the hospital because he had low sugar. The nurse of the hospital asked Dulal Baba to eat sugar but Dulal Baba refused because Baba was very much inclined to eat Rajbhog. The sisters persuaded Baba a lot to feed him sugar, but Dulal Baba said that he will only eat Rajbhog.
The way a small child insists on eating his favorite thing, in the same way our Dulal Baba started insisting on eating Rajbhog. Sisters started saying to Dulal Baba, “From where do we bring Rajbhog for you now? This is a hospital, there is no Rajbhog here.” Then Baba had also said, “I don’t know, I have to eat Rajbhog only. Go to the market and buy from the shop and bring me Rajbhog.”
All the sisters got upset and said that the Hospital also has some rules that they have to follow. But Baba did not agree, he had to eat Rajbhog only. Then the sisters informed to our bed side attendant. Then we told the whole thing to Trupti Mam in the office. Ma’am said, “Don’t worry. We will buy and bring Rajbhog for Baba.”

Within half an hour, Ma’am arranged for Rajbhog and gave it to Baba to eat. Dulal Baba was very happy after eating Rajbhog. Seeing Baba’s happiness, we also felt very happy. Sisters were quite happy and said that we are doing very good service.
They have to follow the rules of the hospital. They are only able to give medicines, injections, medical treatment to the patients. If someone asks for something extra or someone has to be given personal care, they are not able to do that but they were pleased to see the service that we offer. And this is not the first time. The specialty of our Yogananda Trust is that we provide complete personal care. The patients who are connected with us are our family for us, so we give them as much care as we give to our family.
Whenever any mother or baba tells us their wish for something, we fulfil their wish considering that this could be their last wish and this wish should not remain unfulfilled. Dulal Baba passed away after 2 weeks and we are very glad that we were able to fulfil his last wish.
