Volunteer

Short-term and long-term volunteering opportunities are available at our Ashrams, Hospital and Community.

Seva in the Ashram. Here are some ideas:

  • The Mothers and Fathers would love to have a visit from you. You could share with them about your life and they share with you about theirs.

  • You can help in the daily operations of our Ashrams. Look after and care for the mothers who are frail and infirm. Help them in any way they need.

  • You can teach the mothers and fathers something new – painting, performing arts, craft, gardening, yoga, reading and writing, singing, dancing, etc.

  • You can read to the mothers and fathers from story books, scriptures or things which you have written.

  • You can assist, participate and contribute in our Active Aging program.

  • You could come just to celebrate one of the Festivals with our Mothers and Fathers.

Seva in the Community. Here are some ideas:

  • Assist our Community workers with home visits.

  • Assist in the daily distribution of milk and vegetables on site for those who can come to us and home delivery for those who are frail and infirm.
