Nayaswamis Jyotish and Devi are spiritual teachers, writers, and counselors. They travel and lecture extensively throughout the world on the topics of yoga, meditation, family, and living the spiritual life. They are disciples of Paramhansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi, and have served together as spiritual directors of Ananda Sangha Worldwide since 1984. They are also members of the Nayaswami Order founded by Swami Kriyananda, the founder also of Ananda Sangha Worldwide.

Nayaswami Dhyana, is co- spiritual director of Ananda Sangha. She started to study the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda in 1978 and met Swami Kriyananda in 1980. She has shared the teachings of Yogananda in the US, Europe, Africa, Australia and India and helped in the founding of several of Ananda communities and centers.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California in Berkeley, California and worked in social service before moving to Ananda Village in California in 1980. One of her earlier jobs was Director of Big Sisters of America.
She’s been authorized by Swami Kriyananda to give initiation into the advanced meditation technique Kriya Yoga. She teaches locally and travels around India offering training in meditation and Raja Yoga.
|Nayaswami Jaya, Co-Spiritual Director, Ananda Sangha, India
Nayaswami Jaya Helin, born in Los Angeles, became a student of Swami Kriyananda soon after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley in 1968. Upon learning of Swamiji’s interest in spiritual communities, “Jayaji” joined him as a founding member of Ananda Village, now one of the most successful such communities in the world. There he served as Village planner, property manager, and resident acharya for many years with his wife Nayaswami Sadhana Devi. They shifted to New England in 2002 to guide Ananda’s work on the East Coast of the United States and, at Swami Kriyananda’s request, they shifted again to India in 2006, serving first in Gurgaon and then in Pune. Nayaswami Jaya has been authorized by Swami Kriyananda to give initiation into the advanced meditation technique Kriya Yoga and he travels widely as an Ananda “Kriyacharya,” sharing the teachings and techniques of Paramhansa Yogananda with audiences throughout India, America and elsewhere.
|Mrs. Pia Singh
Mrs. Pia Singh, aged 48 years, is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, USA with a degree in Finance.
Mrs. Singh has worked for the risk undertaking department of GE Capital, the investment division of General Electric, USA.
She has been the Chairman of DLF Retail Developers Limited and Director of DT Cinemas Limited and has spearheaded the creation of DLF Retail Malls and DT Cinemas. She is currently a Director on the Board of DLF Ltd and Vice Chairman of DLF Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the DLF Group.
She is the Vice Chairperson of Skills Academy, a social business enterprise that engages in Skills Development, a business that she co-founded along with her partner Mr.Pramod Bhasin.
She serves as the Managing Trustee cum Chairman of the Paramhansa Yogananda Public Charitable Trust.
|Mr Dhiraj Sarna
Dhiraj is the Managing Director & C.E.O of DLF Brands Ltd. Dhiraj Sarna has two decades of entrepreneurial experience during which he has dabbled in both Exports and Retail sectors. His first stint was that of an exporter of furniture, home décor products and other accessories for leading international brands like Pottery Barn, Sia Home Fashion, Crate & Barrel and later diversified the business into restoration of hardware amongst others. Starting 2008, he started his foray in modern retail by starting DLF Brands Limited which has since then This facilitated the entry of some of the marque international names – Boggi Milano, Sia Home Fashion, Alcott, DKNY, Sunglass Hut, Mothercare, Claire’s & KIKO Milano apart from entering into separate JVs with Mango & Forever 21 in India, which had already established retail business. He provides management insights into organizing the trusts programs and intervention strategies.
|Mr Daljit Singh
Daljit Singh is the President-Fortis Healthcare Limited, Chairman-Malar Hospitals, and a Director on the Board of Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC, Dion Global Solutions Limited and HealthFore Technologies Limited. Mr Singh is an acknowledged expert and thought leader in the domain of Healthcare. He was on the World Economic Forum’s Advisory Board on “The Economic Burden of Non Communicable Diseases in India” and is currently on the Global Agenda Council on Ageing. He has spoken on panels and presented to Indian and International audiences on themes related to Healthcare. A certified Life and Executive Coach, he works with Senior Management to enhance personal performance and fulfillment. He also leads and facilitates workshops on Strategy, Business Planning & Leadership. He has mentored and coached several leaders across sectors. He has supported, guided and worked with high performers and leaders in ICI, Mercedes Benz, E&Y, Sapient, Ricoh, WNS, Carrier Midea, PwC, SI group, Schneider, M&M and Fortis.
A graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Mr. Singh was a Commonwealth Scholar to the Senior Management Programme at the Manchester Business School. With an outstanding track record in the field of athletics, his current interests include athletics, high altitude trekking, adventure sports, spirituality, music and reading. Mr Singh provides leadership support in developing organizational systems and procedures for the trust.
|Mr Vivek Sharma
Vivek is from a business background, has been trained since 2005 under the personal spiritual guidance of Swami Kriyananda -direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda- and is co-founder of the Ananda India Healing Sangha, devoted to share and actively practice Paramhansa Yogananda’s Healing Teachings and Techniques in India, which he also shares in Italy and the United States with individuals, Families, Groups and Companies .
